Fleet Scoop is a zero-waste refill shop, designed to help customers reduce single-use packaging and make greener choices without compromising on quality or convenience. The concept is simple: bring your own container, weigh it, fill it, and pay. This hands-on approach not only cuts down on waste but also encourages mindful consumption.
More Than Just Retail
Fleet Scoop is the brainchild of Kate, a passionate advocate for environmental change. Her commitment goes well beyond the shop floor. Since 2019, she has worked tirelessly to influence local policy, joining Fleet Town Council and chairing the Climate Change Working Group. Through initiatives like the Greening Campaign, Fleet Repair Café, and partnerships with Hampshire County Council to support pollinators, Kate is helping shape a greener future for Fleet.
Fleet Scoop also engages with the next generation through forest school sessions, school assemblies, and talks with Scout and Guide groups – inspiring children to become stewards of the environment.
Inside, you’ll find an Aladdin’s cave of over 1,000 products, ranging from dried foods, herbs and spices, and household cleaning supplies to cosmetics, pet products, gifts, and seasonal accessories. Many items are vegan, gluten-free, locally sourced, and marine-safe – all selected with sustainability and ethical supply chains in mind.

Fleet Scoop’s charm is amplified by its warm and knowledgeable team:
- Kate – The energetic founder and driving force behind the shop and its many community projects.
- Rhiannon – A walking encyclopaedia of sustainability, from vegan cooking to herbal remedies and Morris dancing!
- Dominika – A Saturday superstar and natural cleaning expert.
- Matt – The unofficial handyman and cheerful presence, known for his DIY contributions.
- Els & Bella – The younger members of the team, both passionate about nature and sustainability, often found helping customers or tending to campfires.
